PARLIAMENT.......................

 

Currently, the Parliament which is considered the highest place in Sri Lanka is located in the town of sri Jayawardenepura Kotte.  The architect of the building of this parliament is Geoffrey Bawa. Currently, there are 225 members of the parliament. Officials are appointed to the parliament for five years. The laws of the country are made by the parliament. At present, the discipline of the parliament has deteriorated. The members have neglected their responsibility.  The President is Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe.  He became the President after Gotabaya Rajapaksa.  Although considered as the highest place, there is no Supreme Bhava today.
